Landline Internet prices soar by 27% or more

Telecom Egypt has implemented a price increase for its home internet packages in Egypt. The new pricing plans offer users the flexibility to choose a package that best suits their specific needs.

These prices are for landline internet packages and include the added value tax (VAT) of 14 percent. The packages are categorized into Mega, Ultra, and Max, each offering different data allowances.

  • 140 GB Landline Internet Package: The most popular package now costs 239.4 Egyptian Pounds after adding VAT, compared to 160 Egyptian Pounds before, representing an increase of 79 Egyptian Pounds.
  • 200 GB Package: This package is now priced at 330.6 Egyptian Pounds after VAT, compared to the previous price of 225 Egyptian Pounds, which is an increase of 105 Egyptian Pounds.
  • 250 GB Package: The 250 GB package now costs 410.4 Egyptian Pounds after VAT, up from 280 Egyptian Pounds, representing an increase of 130 Egyptian Pounds.
  • 400 GB Package: The price of the 400 GB package has increased to 649.8 Egyptian Pounds after VAT, compared to the previous price of 440 Egyptian Pounds, which is an increase of 209 Egyptian Pounds.
  • 600 GB Package: The 600 GB package is now priced at 850 Egyptian Pounds after VAT, compared to the previous price of 650 Egyptian Pounds, which is an increase of 200 Egyptian Pounds.
  • 1 TB Package: The 1 Terabyte package now costs 1550.4 Egyptian Pounds after VAT, compared to the previous price of 1050 Egyptian Pounds, representing an increase of 500 Egyptian Pounds.
