LE100 million for the employment of Egyptian returnees from Libya

LE100 million has been allocated to enable the employment of Egyptians who have returned from Libya since violence broke out there, Minister of Manpower Ahmed Hassan al-Borai announced. In a press statement on Saturday, al-Borai said his ministry will sign cooperation agreements with the International Labor Organization on Sunday.

With the regional representative of the Internal Organization for Migration (IOM), he has also discussed cooperation between Egypt and the IOM with regards to assisting Egyptians who have fled Libya. The IOM expressed readiness to help gather information about Egyptian returnees.
