Leonardo DiCaprio’s win most tweeted about moment in Oscar history

Leonardo DiCaprio's long-awaited Oscar win for his role in "The Revenant" has become the most tweeted about moment in Oscar history reported Twitter.

Generating more than 400,000 tweets per minute, DiCaprio's win on Sunday night far surpassed the record previously held by Ellen DeGeneres' for the presenter's star-studded selfie that she posted back in 2014.

The other Oscar moments that got tweeters talking were "Spotlight" picking up the award for Best Picture and "Mad Max: Fury Road" winning its impressive sixth award, this time for sound mixing.
