Lionel Messi leads scoring charts after the first round of World Cup

Argentina’s captain Lionel Messi topped the scoring charts after the first round of the World Cup, which will be held from June 11 to July 19.

The tournament is being hosted by three countries: the US, Canada, and Mexico, and will feature 48 teams for the first time in its history.

Messi scored a hat-trick against Algeria in the first round, putting him at the top of the scoring charts.
