A military source revealed that explosions heard in Port Said Governorate on Saturday were air discharge sounds but added that the location has not yet been identified.
Islam Sayyad, Director of the Information Unit at the Security Directorate of Port Said, said he contacted all the security directorate's departments and the Department of Civil Defense, and they all said they have not received any claims about explosions in the governorate.
A witness from Port Said said he heard a loud explosion across the province but did not see any explosion effects.
