Egyptian TV host Mahmoud Saad reassured fans of celebrity singer Angham about her health, confirming that the results of her latest tests were very close to normal.
Saad wrote on his Facebook page: “To Angham’s many, many, many fans, I will tell you the latest news from Munich on Saturday evening. I was waiting for the test results, as I told you in the last article I wrote about Angham. Thank God, the numbers are very close to normal. The doctors advised Angham to walk outside her room, and thankfully she is eating normally.”
He also shot down rumors about the presence of an abscess found on her pancreas.
“No medical error occurred during the operation, and the complications that occurred are the complications that can occur in this type of major and dangerous surgery. As I told you, Angham chose this hospital because it specializes in pancreatic surgeries… Also, Angham did not undergo three surgeries as was rumored,” he added.
Saad continued: “Finally, as for the pain, thank God it’s subsiding now. I want to tell you that the ordeal Angham went through showed an outpouring of the most sincere love, which she deserves.”
He concluded: “I’ve known Angham for many years and I know how much she’s worked and struggled to get to where she is. Your love is for a truly sincere artist, and she deserves it. Please pray for her to recover safely.”
Saad had earlier announced that Angham underwent a successful surgical procedure on August 7 to remove part of her pancreas.
On his official Facebook page, Saad wrote at the time: “Thank God for Angham’s safety. As I told you yesterday, Angham entered the operating room today to remove the remaining part of the cyst on her pancreas, along with a small part of the organ itself. The operation was delicate and not easy, but thank God it went well and was successful. She is doing well, thank God. We pray for Angham to recover quickly and return safely.”
