Making history: Egyptian national team wins 18 different medals at world finswimming tournament in Italy

The Egyptian national team for swimming won 18 different medals for the public, seniors, masters and juniors categories in the world finswimming championships held in Italy.

The promising Egyptian champion, Ghada Warda, won the first gold medal in the world in the 150-meter individual race.

The Egyptian national finswimming team won seven gold medals, six silver medals and five bronze medals.

For his part, Captain Sameh al-Shazly, President of the Egyptian and Arab Diving and Rescue Federations and a member of the Board of Directors of the International Diving Federation, expressed his happiness with the achievements made by Egyptian champions, praising their distinguished level.

Shazly said that he dedicates this great achievement to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the patron of sports and athletes in Egypt, and to Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, for his constant support for swimming sports.

The delegation of the Egyptian national team is headed by Captain Ashraf al-Bakl, a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Diving and Rescue Federation.
