Manchester City announces date of Omar Marmoush’s debut match for the club

Manchester City officially announced the signing of Egyptian international Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt.

German journalist Florian Plettenberg, from Sky Sports, revealed on X that Marmoush is expected to be included in the squad for the upcoming match against Chelsea on Saturday.

Marmoush recently bid farewell to his Eintracht Frankfurt teammates and fans before completing his transfer to Manchester City.

The Egyptian player successfully underwent a medical examination in Manchester on Tuesday.

The Etihad Stadium will host a highly anticipated match between Manchester City and Chelsea in the 23rd round of the Premier League.

The Egyptian international has scored 20 goals and provided 14 assists in 26 matches across all competitions for Frankfurt this season.

German press reports previously announced Marmoush’s salary with his new club, Manchester City.

According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports, Marmoush’s official salary, as stated in the contracts, will range between €16-17 million in total, including taxes, annually at Manchester City, which is equivalent to €10 million net annually that Marmoush will receive.

Plettenberg said that the Egyptian striker currently receives two million euros annually with his current club.

He also confirmed that Manchester City will pay €75 million as a fixed payment in addition to five million euros as potential bonus payments.
