Marsa Alam International Airport in the Red Sea Governorate has received the first charter flight from Malpensa Airport in Milan, Italy.
The flight belonged to Wizz Air, a low-cost airline, with 235 Italian passengers on board.
It is scheduled that two flights will be operating per week to the city through this line.
This comes in light of the activation of tourism and air traffic witnessed by the airports of Egyptian tourist cities.
This is aided with the efforts of the ministries of Tourism and Antiquities and Civil Aviation.
Many international airlines request to operate flights to Egyptian tourist cities.
Ahmed al-Daa, the supervisor of the Egyptian Tourism Authority’s office in the Red Sea Governorate, and office members welcomed this trip, and gifted them with souvenirs.
