MB figure, journalist fined LE40,000 for insulting Zamalek Club chairman

Bulaq Abul Ela Misdemeanor Court fined on Saturday Muslim Brotherhood figure Mohamed al-Beltagy and a journalist of Akhbar al-Yom newspaper LE40,000 for insulting Mortada Mansour, Zamalek Club chairman.

Beltagy has already been remanded into custody over inciting violence and other charges, along with other Brotherhood members.

The journalist earlier quoted Beltagy as saying Mansour stormed office of the former Public Prosecutor Talaat Ibrahim and forced him to resign. Investigators say that the incidents were untrue.
