On Sunday, Giza's Criminal Court postponed the trial of Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie and 50 other members of the group until a judge replacement request is reviewed.
Defendant Salah Sultan requested the measure claiming that the court panel had a preset stance against the defendants, especially Sultan.
The request will be reviewed by the Cairo Appeals Court on 8 April.
The defendants are accused of allegedly forming a task force to overthrow state authorities following the dispersal of the Rabaa al-Adaweya and Nahda sit-ins in August 2013.
