Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb discussed developments in the Renaissance Dam issue with his Ethiopian counterpart Hailemariam Desalegn during the US-Africa summit in Washington.
They emphasized their commitment to the spirit of dialogue and cooperation for the new round of tripartite meetings between Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia this month.
“We must capitalize on President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s meeting with the Ethiopian prime minister at the recent African Union summit in Malabo and pursue issues of common interest,” Mehleb said.
Meanwhile, Desalegn asked Mehleb to convey his greetings to President Sisi and stressed that relationships are developing in the right path.
