Prime minister designate Ibrahim Mehleb arrived Wednesday morning to the Cabinet's headquarters to resume talks with potential ministers tipped for the government that will replace Hazem al-Beblawy's, which resigned Monday.
Mehleb met with a number of ministers from the resigned government as well as others expected to replace some of its members.
The new potential figures in the new government with whom Mehleb met include Ashraf Mansour for the Higher Education Ministry, Ibrahim Younis for Military Production and Mohamed Shaker for the Ministry of Electricity.
He also convened with current ministers from the caretaking government. During their meeting with the prime minister designate, the ministers of telecommunication, youth, interior, antiquities, local development, information, petroleum, planning and international cooperation, education.and Islamic endowments all agreed to maintain their posts under Mehleb.
Mehleb said in a press confrence yesterday that the new formation would be announced within four days maximum.
