Weather is expected to be moderate and partly cloudy on the northern coasts, possibly accompanied by light rain in various areas and active winds in the west.
Sunny and moderately hot weather is expected in northern Upper Egypt, with mist in the morning and occasional strong winds. Hotter temperatures are predicted for southern Upper Egypt, with moderately strong to strong winds.
Cold weather is expected at night in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Upper Egypt, and along the north coast.
High winds are predicted along the northwestern coast and South Sinai, possibly disrupting maritime navigation in the Red and Mediterranean seas.
Meteorologists said the country will be affected on Saturday by a high-pressure front in the Western Desert.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities on Saturday are 23C in Alexandria, 29C in Cairo, 33C in Qena, 35C in Luxor, and 36C in Aswan.
Waves in the Mediterranean and Red seas will be rough, ranging between two and three meters in height, with northwesterly surface winds in both seas.
