Meteorologists predict cold weather across Egypt’s northern coasts and mild weather in Lower Egypt and Cairo up to northern Upper Egypt, while moderate weather is expected for southern Upper Egypt on Monday during daylight. Temperatures will grow very cold by night.
Maximum temperatures expected for the following cities are: 20C in Alexandria, 23C in Cairo, 26C in Qena, 28C in Luxor and 29C in Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the morning hours from the country’s northern parts to northern Upper Egypt.
Low- and medium-level clouds will cover the northern parts of the country. Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate, active in South Sinai and on the Red Sea. They may disrupt maritime navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between 2 to 2.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be rough and will range between 2.5 to 3 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwesterly on both seas.
