Miss Eco International 2017 contestants head to Sharm el-Sheikh from Dahab

Miss Eco International 2017 contestants left the beach town on Dahab on Saturday, heading to Sharm el-Sheikh to resume the festival's events.

A reception and opening ceremony was held in Dahab on Thursday for the 80 beauty queens representing 80 countries.

Tourism industry sources said the pageant contestants will stay in Sharm el-Sheikh until April 15, which marks the date of the competition's final ceremony, which is sponsored by the ministries of tourism and antiquities and the Tourism Promotion Authority.

The contestants arrived in Alexandria earlier this month and travelled down to Cairo before heading to Dahab.
