Meteorologists predict moderate and rainy weather across most parts of Egypt on Tuesday and Wednesday, with mild weather along the northwestern shores at daytime.
The weather will grow colder by night on Cairo, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, moderately cold on the northern coasts, southern Upper Egypt, and mild in South Sinai.
Light showers are expected on some parts of Lower Egypt (Behaira – Kafr el-Sheikh – Daqahlia-Gharbiya) with 40 percent chances of moderate rain.
A 50 percent chance of moderate rainfall is expected along the northwestern coasts (Alexandria – Rashid-Balteem-Matruh-Salloum).
And there will be a 30 percent chance of lighter rains south of the Red Sea mountain chains (Halayib-Shalateen).
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height. Surface winds will be southwestern on the Mediterranean Sea and northwestern over the Red Sea.
