Egypt’s football legend and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah joined the Egyptian national team camp, on Tuesday morning, in Al Ain, UAE, in preparation for the friendly matches against Zambia and Algeria scheduled to be held on October 12 and 16 at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in the UAE.
The delegation of the Egyptian football team left for the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi on Monday to hold a camp during the current international break.
The Egyptian national team is scheduled to face its Zambian counterpart on October 12 before facing Algeria on October 16, as part of its preparations for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Earlier in September, Salah continued a victorious streak after contributing to his team’s 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton in the fifth round of the English Premier League.
Salah was able to make assists for two goals in Liverpool’s victory on Saturday against its counterpart, Wolverhampton, in the match that brought them together in the fifth round.
