Egyptian international football star Mohamed Salah is the top scorer in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Salah appears topped the rankings of the continent’s top scorers in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, after the end of the first two rounds.
The Egyptian king scored four goals for the Egyptian national team against Djibouti in the first round of the qualifiers.
Ranking of the top scorers in the African World Cup qualifiers:
- Mohamed Salah – Egypt – Four goals
- Patson Daka – Zambia – Three goals
- Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet – Egypt – Three goals
Twelve players succeeded in scoring two goals, including Sadio Mane, the star of the Senegalese national team, and Youssef Msakni, the captain of Tunisia.
