President Mohamed Morsy plans to deliver a speech to the nation Thursday on Prophet Mohamed's birthday and ahead of the 25 January revolution's second anniversary.
Morsy will deliver the speech at an Endowments Ministry conference hall in the evening.
Muslims celebrate the birth of Prophet Mohamed Thursday, one day before the anniversary of the revolution.
Opposition groups called for demonstrations in Tahrir Square Friday to demand that the new Constitution be scrapped, stressing that it does not represent Egyptians or meet the revolution's aspirations. The group's also demand the fulfillment of the revolution's demands.
