Morsy’s son referred to criminal court over hashish possession

Banha prosecution ordered referring son of deposed President Mohamed Morsy, Abdullah, and his friend Mohamed Emad Abdel Moneim, an employee at a company owned by the Muslim Brotherhood figure Hassan Malek, to Criminal Court over possessing hashish.

They were earlier arrested in possession of hashish in a car parked in Obour City.

Prosecution heard testimony of the four policemen who arrested the suspects, as well as the forensic medicine examiner who took from them blood and urine samples. The urine samples showed that both of them had taken drugs, while the blood sample of Morsy’s son was negative.

Remains of hashish and a cigarette were found inside the car.
