Mubarak arrives at Police Academy to face retrial charges on killing protesters

 

Ex-President Hosni Mubarak arrived on Sunday at the Police Academy to review his retrial. Mubarak, his interior minister Habib al-Adli and six top security deputies are being charged with killing protesters. 
 
Adli and Mubarak's sons Alaa and Gamal left Tora Prison in order to attend the retrial at the Police Academy.
 
The Cairo security department handled, in collaboration with the military, Mubarak's transfer by helicopter to Maadi Military Hospital where he has been placed under house arrest.
 
The court session is Mubarak's first after being released. He was accused in four cases, the last of which was the 'Ahram gifts' case.
