Netflix to screen Hend Sabry’s ‘Search for Ola’ series soon

Netflix, one of the world’s leading entertainment services, announced that the new original Arabic series starring Hend Sabry, “al-Bahs An Ola” (Search for Ola) will be screened soon.

“Search for Ola” is a new series produced by Netflix in Egypt, which is producing another series dubbed “Drama Queen” starring Abla Fahita, Caro, and Boody, expected to be released in 2021.

A number of stars, including Sawsan Badr, Hany Adel, Nada Moussa, Mahmoud Elleithy, and Dalia Shawky, will take part in the series. The series includes a special appearance for a number of Arab stars, including Khaled al-Nabawy.

The series tells the story of a young pharmacist named Ola Abdel Sabour in new adventures, ten years after the Sabry’s famous social series “Ayza Atgawez” (I Want to Get Married) was screened.

“Search for Ola” shows Abdel Sabour as rediscovering or reinventing herself in an attempt to keep pace with the rapid developments of life, as well as her adventures to find a balance between her multiple responsibilities and her dreamy attempts to find love in her life.

“Search for Ola” is directed by Hady al-Bagoury. Sabry, an executive producer for the series through her company SALAM PROD in cooperation with Partner Pro and executive producer Amin al-Masry.

The series is inspired by characters invented by Ghada Abdel Aal while the script and dialogue are written by Maha al-Wazir and Abdel Aal.

The filming of the series began at the end of January 2021 in several locations in Cairo, while maintaining safety standards to ensure the health of the work team.
