New suspects arrested in Kerdasa

On Monday, police targeted the Kerdasa and Abu Nomros areas in Giza and arrested suspects affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, who were allegedly involved in acts of violence in the past few months.

In total, six suspects were arrested for allegedly storming the Virgin Mary Church in Kafr Hakim village and raiding its contents.

The suspects are accused of inciting and funding demonstrations in the neighborhoods of Mohandiseen and Dokki.

One of the suspects arrested is an Al-Azhar preacher.

Another suspect, a 29-year-old man, has been on the most wanted list for the case of storming the Kerdasa police station, which left 11 people dead.
