A New York Times investigation has debunked the Israeli occupation army’s narrative that a misfired Hamas rocket was responsible for the bombing of the Baptist Hospital in Gaza.
The investigation found that the missile seen in the video that the Israeli army cited was not fired from Gaza.
In previous press statements, the Israeli army spokesperson said that there were no craters or any evidence that an airstrike caused the hospital explosion.
The spokesperson also added that Hamas exaggerated the number of casualties in the hospital explosion, and reiterated his accusation that the Jihad movement was behind the bombing of the Baptist Hospital in Gaza.
The Israeli occupation army on Monday launched intensive airstrikes on residential blocks in different parts of Gaza at the same time, killing roughly 150 people – most of them women and children.
The Al-Shifa Hospital received hundreds of injured people on Monday afternoon, amid the collapse of the medical system in the Gaza Strip due to the blockade.
According to media reports, the number of dead received by the hospital reached 150 people, with hundreds more injured.
The incident follows the Israeli bombardment of the Baptist hospital in Gaza that killed nearly 500 people.
The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights (EOHR) condemned the bombing of the al-Ahli Arab Hospital *aka Baptist hospital) in the Gaza Strip by Israeli occupation forces.
The EOHR called on international institutions and major countries to intervene and stop the massacring.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that a large number of injured people arrived at Al-Shifa Medical Complex after the occupation targeted six homes in the Strip.
