A newly-wed woman was found hanged at her house in Beni Suef after her husband found out she was nine-month pregnant, despite them being married for only five months.
According to investigations, the wife, 23, went with her husband to the doctor, who told them she was towards the end of her pregnancy.
On their way back home, the husband said he would take her the following day to another doctor to make sure and then left the house to buy some groceries. When he came back, he found that she hung herself.
The prosecution was notified of the death and an autopsy will be carried out as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident.
