The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters stated in a press release on Wednesday, that US President Donald Trump has resumed threatening Iran with strikes on its infrastructure.
“The Strait of Hormuz remains closed, and if any vessel is permitted passage, it will proceed solely along the designated route and under the previously announced protocols,” the headquarters’ leadership said in the statement.
The statement added that if the United States carries out its threats, the Iranian Armed Forces will not allow “even a single drop of oil to be exported,” warning that oil, gas, electricity, and economic infrastructure throughout the region will become targets for attacks.
It further stressed that repeated threats from the US and its military will only broaden the scope of the war across the region, and potentially beyond.
Trump had previously declared that “if Iran fires a missile, shell, drone, or any other weapon at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz at any time, the United States will bomb and destroy a bridge or power station—including those located in or near the capital, Tehran.
