Nurse stabs man to death in Giza street to ‘defend her honor’

A gruesome crime took place in the middle of a street in Giza Governorate, Egypt, after a nurse stabbed a man to death, in order to “defend her honor.”

The residents informed the Warraq Police Departmen on Saturday that there was a body soaked in his blood in the street, after a young woman stabbed him with a knife in front of passersby.

The police went to the crime scene and conducted their investigations into the incident.

The victim was a Tuk-tuk driver, and the surveillance cameras around the crime scene showed a woman leaving the building in front of the place where crime took place moments before it was committed.

Police identified the identity of the suspect, who was found to be working as a nurse, and she was arrested.

When police confronted the suspect, she confessed to committing the incident because the victim blackmailed her into having an illicit relationship with her and threatened to tell her husband.

Police investigations revealed that the victim had lured the suspect to his home and sexually assaulted her, then threatened to expose her in order to continue their illicit relationship, so she decided to murder him in revenge.
