Member of the Executive Committee of the PLO and head of the Organization's Department for Refugee Affairs Zakaria al-Agha, has arrived in Cairo from Ramallah via Jordan, heading a delegation scheduled to participate in the 94th session of the Conference of Supervisors of Palestinian Affairs in Arab states hosting refugees, which begins Sunday morning.
Agha will chair the five-day conference, which will discuss the recent developments related to Palestine and the situation of refugees, a delegation member confirmed after arrival.
The delegation will call on Arab states to pressure the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to comply with the resolutions of the General Assembly of the United Nations and the Security Council, and stop the expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank, which constitutes the main issue blocking negotiations, he added.
