The Hurghada International Airport has received its first flight from the German “Condor” airline, the result of fruitful coordination done between between the ministries of aviation, tourism and antiquities.
Coming from Frankfurt, the flight carried 220 passengers on board. It was received with the airport’s tradition of spraying water, while the passengers were handed flowers and chocolates. Members of the Egyptian Tourist Promotion Board distributed promotional materials about Egypt, its scenic locations souvenirs.
The occasion was even more special as it marked the pilot’s final flight before retirement.
The Hurghada airport provided all the necessary facilities while speeding up arrival procedures, all while carefully maintaining precautionary measures and social distancing implemented.
This flight will be weekly until mid-March, and will then increase up to three per week afterwards.
