PM announces July 20 and 23 as official holidays in Egypt

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly issued a decision stating that Thursday, July 20, will be an official paid holiday for workers in ministries, government agencies, public bodies, local administration units, public sector companies, public business sector companies, and private sector companies.

The holiday will be on the occasion of the Hijri New Year, the first day of the month of Muharram for the year 1445 AH.

According to the decision, Sunday, July 23, will be an official paid holiday for workers in ministries, government agencies, public bodies, local administration units, public sector companies, public business sector companies and the private sector, on the occasion of the July 23 Revolution anniversary.
