Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou said on Tuesday that Poland reducing travel warnings to Egypt is a good step in the restoration of inbound tourism, especially that it was the only country that had issued such warnings recently.
The minister said the Polish Foreign Ministry had allowed citizens to fly by plane to Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, El Gouna, Safaga and Marsa Alam.
Zaazou had met with the Polish ambassador to discuss the reduction of travel warnings, reiterating to him that the Interior Ministry is taking measures to secure the Egyptian tourist destination.
The Polish ambassador, for his part, called for resuming direct flights between the two countries.
