An explosion hit the Central Security Forces camp in Faisal, Suez. A crossfire between police and assailants ensued.
Eyewitnesses said attackers shot at the facility indiscriminately and security forces replied with gunfire from inside.
The sound of the explosion, heard from afar, spread panic among citizens and ambulances soon arrived to the scene. No casualties have been reported so far.
