Border guards at Ahmed Hamdy Tunnel in Suez arrested on Wednesday a police officer and his female friend who were in possession of 80 packets of heroin.
The officer — a captain, with the initials K. M., was arrested on his way back from a holiday in Sharm el-Sheikh.
A claim was filed and the packets were seized by security forces. Prosecutors were notified for investigation.
