Popular Current to turn into political party

Ahmed Kamel, in charge of political communication for the Popular Current Movement, has said that two-thirds of the members approved turning the movement into a political party.

He also said that the last meeting, which was attended by the founder, Hamdeen Sabbahi, reviewed the parliamentary elections to choose candidates.

He added that 80 percent of the members said they would vote for the constitution despite reservations on the military trials for civilians and the demonstrations law.
