The Port Said Criminal Court on Thursday adjourned the Port Said Stadium massacre case to Sunday 21 October.
Seventy-three defendants are standing trial for their involvement in the rampage that followed a premiere league match in the Port Said Stadium between the Ahly and Masry teams. Dozens of Masry fans stormed the pitch after the match, attacking and killing 74 guest supporters.
The defense claims the testimonies of witnesses to the violence were contradictory.
Ahly fans have demonstrated against resuming play before retribution is attained for victims of the violence.
