The Azbakiya Misdemeanor Court on Sunday sentenced preacher Abdallah Badr, a presenter at Al-Hafiz TV, to six months in prison and fined him LE10,000 for insulting actress Elham Shahin in his program, forging nude pictures of her and distributing them to pedestrians.
The same court had sentenced Badr before to five years and fined him LE20,000 with a bail of LE2,000 in the same case, while the Al-Zawya Al-Hamra court had sentenced him last December to one year and fined him LE20,000 for claiming Shahin was committing adultery in her films.
The 53-year-old was arrested in a flat in the 10th of Ramadan City, where he was hiding and he was taken to Wadi Al-Natroun prison.
