Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi congratulated Egyptian Muslims abroad on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
This came in the form of a congratulatory telegram transmitted by Egyptian embassies and consulates abroad on Tuesday evening, to members of Egyptian expatriate social media communities.
Sisi’s telegram reads: “My brothers and sons, the Muslims of Egypt abroad, it gives me great pleasure to send you my most sincere heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, asking the Lord – the Most High, the Almighty – to make it a happy and blessed Eid, and to bring it back to us and to our dear Egypt and its great people with goodness and blessings. Happy Eid.”
