A Germany-based Egyptian journalist had verbally attacked President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, following his conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday, German TV Deutsche Welle reported.
“Sisi is a murderer, Sisi is a fascist”, the journalist chanted after being denied the opportunity to ask the president some questions.
The Egyptian journalists responded with chanting “Long live Egypt”, while the security forces escorted the woman out of the hall.
President Sisi was accompanied during his visit by a number of actors and media figures, who reportedly participated in the two-day trip in a show of solidarity against planned opposing demonstrations by supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood.
