Meteorologists anticipate cold, rainy and windy weather across most of Egypt on Sunday, with moderately warm temperatures for southern Upper Egypt during the daytime and growing very cold throughout the country by night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 17C in Cairo and Alexandria and 18C in Qena, Luxor and Aswan.
Low- and medium-level clouds are anticipated north of the country, accompanied by rainfall on the northern coasts and parts of Lower Egypt.
Frost is predicted to cover farmland in Central Sinai and Northern Upper Egypt
Winds will be mostly southwestern and moderate, active over most parts of the country. It will blow up sand and dust on open areas, disturbing maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height, with northwestern to southwestern surface winds on the Mediterranean Sea and northwestern surface winds on the Red Sea.
