The National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics announced that the first day of Ramadan 2023 will be on Thursday, March 23, according to President of the Institute, Gad al-Qady.
Qady explained, in a press statement, Thursday, that the date of the first day of Ramadan 2023 was determined after the start of the month of Sha’ban 1444 was determined, on Tuesday, February 21.
He noted that the crescent of the month of Sha’ban 1444 will be born directly at 9:07 pm, on Monday, Cairo time.
