Egyptian rapper Wegz is preparing to perform a concert as part of the second session of the el-Alamein Festival, which kicked off on July 11.
The festival organizers promoted its closing concert through a post on Instagram on their official page, saying that Wegz will perform his concert on August 30.

The page confirmed that tickets for the concert are now available for the public, available on Tazkarti.
Acclaimed rapper Wegz became the first Egyptian rapper to perform a concert at the closing ceremony of the World Cup in Qatar back in December 2022.
Wegz, subsequently, topped the list of the most listened to works on Spotify in the Middle East for the year 2022, with the song “Al-Bakht”, in addition to the song “B3oda Ya Belady”, which ranked tenth.
The New Alamein Festival is organized by the United Media Services Company in the city of New Alamein from July 11 until the end of August.
It boasts a range of cultural activities including music concerts, shopping events and sports.
The festival also announced its solidarity with Palestine and Gaza by raising the Palestinian flag in the word “Alamein” (two flags) on the banner for Amr Diab’s ceremony on July 11, in addition to the festival’s announcement of donating 60 percent of its profits to Palestine.
