Minister of Manpower and Immigration Nahed Ashry canceled the licenses of 267 recruitment agencies sending Egyptians abroad and suspended the licenses of 27 other agencies for violating the law, bringing the total number of agencies working in this field to 859 companies.
She said the law allows the minister to cancel a license in case of irregularities, without prejudice to the criminal, civil or disciplinary liability.
