Rise in weather temperatures expected to continue through March

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority anticipates weather temperature to continue to rise in the coming days as a result of a hot air mass coming from the desert of the Arabian Peninsula.

Warm air masses will form during the day, leading to longer periods of sunshine and higher temperatures.

As March approaches, a rise in temperatures are predicted during the coming days, said a member of the Media Center of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority Manar Ghanem.

Several weather fluctuations are expected throughout March, she added.

Warm weather is predicted during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern and western coasts, with hot weather in southern Upper Egypt.

Meteorologists anticipate high temperatures to continue for some time, coinciding with the end of the approaching of the summer season.

Winds are expected to be active in areas of the far west of the country sometimes stirring sand and dust, especially in the morning.

Mists are also expected on some agricultural roads and highways close to water channels.
