The Russian supply ship BORIS BUTOMA arrived at the Red Sea Marine Base on Thursday morning, part of an unofficial visit to strengthen relations between the navies of Egypt and Russia.
It is the second ship to arrive this week, coinciding with the visit of Russian foreign and defense ministers Sergei Lavrov and Sergei Shoigu.
A statement issued by the Egyptian armed forces said the ship will stay for four days.
The ship is crewed by 76 people and can carry 13,000 tons of fuel, 400 tons of ammunition, 500 tons of fresh water, and 400 tons of miscellaneous supplies.
