Russian travel agencies continued to organize trips to the resorts of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh, following a hiatus since the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war in February.
“Fun & Sun”, a Russian tour operator, announced the launch of a flight program from Moscow to Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada airports, on regular daily EgyptAir flights, fully booked by the tour operator.
Tourism sources at the company’s branch in Hurghada confirmed that flights will start from April 28 from Moscow to Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada airports.
The prices include a one-week vacation in May with an EgyptAir flight from Moscow to Hurghada, at about 71,500 rubles per person with all-inclusive meals.
The same trip in Sharm el-Sheikh starts from 67,320 rubles per person with all-inclusive meals.
Fun & Sun announced a discount using the promo code Egypt3000 when booking a tour on its website or its mobile app until May 31.
Hurghada International Airport witnessed, Sunday, an increase in the number of Russian flights after the resumption of suspended flights.
The airport received a flight that carried about 300 Russian tourists on Sunday.
Flights from Moscow and St. Petersburg airports are scheduled to operate twice a week until the end of October.
Russia’s largest tourism company “Biblio-Globus” resumed tourist trips to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh airports starting from April 3 according to a number of agents working in Russian tourism companies in the city of Hurghada in the Red Sea Governorate.
Russia halted flights and evacuated its tourists in March due to its war in Ukraine.
