Captain fishermen in Suez Bakry Aboul Hassan said Tuesday that the Saudi authorities released Tuesday 59 Egyptian fishermen who have been detained in Saudi Arabia for violating its territorial waters.
Aboul Hassan added in an exclusive statement to Al-Masry Al-Youm that the Saudi authorities did not release the rest of the detained Egyptian fishermen.
Saudi authorities had detained last week 95 Egyptian fishermen. A fisherman was shot dead and another was injured as Saudi guards shot them while in their pursuit the Saudi coasts.
