Saudi Ittihad Club signs Karim Benzema for 2.4 billion riyals over 3 years

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano announced the value of the French star Karim Benzema’s contract with the Saudi Al-Ittihad Club on Twitter, after contracting with the player during the current summer transfer window.

 

The contract

Benzema will receive 800 million riyals every year, with a total of 2.4 billion riyals over three years. The contract ends in the summer transfer window of 2026.

 

Saudi club announcement

The Saudi club Al-Ittihad announced on Twitter a new contract with Benzema during the current summer transfer window, in a free transfer deal coming from its Spanish counterpart, Real Madrid.

Egyptian international players Ahmed Hegazy and Tariq Hamed, play for Al-Ittihad. The club won the Saudi Professional League title this season at the expense of its counterpart, the Al-Nasr team.

Thus, the club is guaranteed to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the end of this year.
