The Transport Ministry has announced that the second VIP train between Cairo and Aswan is now operational. The train was manufactured by the Arab Organization for Industrialization, in cooperation with China.
The train leaves Cairo every other day at 5:40 pm and arrives in Aswan early the next morning.
First class tickets to Assiut cost LE135 each and economy class tickets cost LE85. To Naga Hammadi, first class tickets go for LE170 and economy class LE105. First class to Luxor is LE95 and economy class is LE115, while first class to Aswan is LE235 and economy class is LE135.
