Security closes Tahrir Square within arrangements made ahead of Sisi’s inauguration

Military and police troops have closed all entrances and exits of Tahrir Square within arrangements made ahead of inauguration of the President-elect Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, which will take place on Sunday.
 
Electronic gates and razor wires were placed. Central security vehicles were stationed around Omar Makram mosque as well as streets of Bab al-Louq, Talaat Harb and Mohamed Mahmoud.
 
Female police personnel were there to check females who will flock to the square, within celebrations by people on Sunday over winning of Sisi in presidential elections.
 
Several armed forces jets were seen flying over the square to follow on security situation.
 
Cairo Cleaning & Beautification Agency’s workers painted facades of Mugamma al-Tahrir.
 
In related news,Transportation Minister Ibrahimal-Demeiry gave instructions to Ali al-Fadaly, chairman of the Egyptian company for metro to be on high alert.
